Causa Creations joins the rcp family

This collaboration is a powerful convergence of artistic vision, technological prowess, and a shared commitment to pushing the boundaries of gaming experiences.

Key Milestones:

  • In 2014, in collaboration with the Austrian art collective gold extra, Causa Creations developed an adventure game and AR experience for the Humboldt Forum in Berlin, redefining museum engagement. (Totems & Sound)

  • In 2019, Causa Creations transitioned into Causa Creations Interactive Media GmbH, solidifying its position with a fixed team of nine and additional freelancers.

Recent Successes:

  • Award-winning projects like “Glasfäden,” a motion comic narrating the stories of Vietnamese migrants to the GDR. (Glasfäden)
  • Participation in EU-funded game-related projects and collaboration with environmental NGOs on XR projects addressing energy and climate change challenges.

Present and Future Focus:
Causa Creations is renowned for its innovative approach, extending gaming into cultural and educational applications. Collaborations with organizations such as ORF, UNHCR, and various cultural institutions highlight the studio’s diverse contributions.

Causa Creations also plans to continue its successful crowdfunding ventures, exploring the exciting niche of analog games while advancing digital projects, and is launching a Kickstarter on Thursday, February 2nd, for The Sewer and the Stars, a standalone expansion for its Tarot-based TTRPG, The Hidden Isle.

Management:
Causa Creations is currently led by Georg Hobmeier, Christian Knapp, and Ben Wahl, each bringing unique expertise in mixed media art, technical direction, and digital game production.
