Gameplan joins rcp as its first South American studio
Munich, March 5th, 2026.
remote control productions (rcp) is proud to announce that Gameplan, a Brazil-based game development studio specialized in co-development, engineering, and outstaffing, has officially joined the rcp family of studios, marking a historic milestone as rcp’s first studio partner rooted in South America.
Founded in São Paulo, SP, currently headquartered in Fortaleza, Ceará, and working remotely with talented experts from across the country, Gameplan carries more than 13 years of industry experience and is currently expanding its services to full SKU development and porting, as it enters its next phase of growth. The studio provides scalable development services across PC, console, mobile, web, and proprietary platforms, serving international clients and publishers including Xbox, Gamehouse, Lockwood Publishing, Bandai Namco, NetEase Games, InnoGames, and Jam.gg
By joining the rcp family, Gameplan strengthens rcp’s delivery capabilities by providing flexible outstaffing solutions and reliable technical support to rcp family studios, publishers, and partners.
This is also a key step in strengthening blend by rcp, combining top-tier co-development studios and flexible service partners under one global umbrella. It further reinforces rcp’s operational presence in the LATAM region through a trusted local partner.
The partnership reflects rcp’s ongoing commitment to building a diverse ecosystem that combines creative studios and service partners, enabling scalable delivery while allowing studios to remain in charge of their own companies.
“Gameplan brings strong technical expertise and a valuable regional perspective to the rcp ecosystem,” said Hendrik Lesser, CEO of remote control productions.

RCP & family
Established in 2005, remote control productions (rcp) is an independent Munich production house for interactive entertainment, providing services for companies in the video game industry and adjacent spaces. Covering everything from HR, finance and legal support, rcp enables studios to get on with what they do best: creating great games. Our purpose is to empower, support, and emancipate game makers to create sustainably.
rcp is also the ‘mothership’ for a family of more than 15 established gaming companies in countries all over the world. These group members operate across the interactive entertainment industry – developing their own projects with the support of rcp. This group of studios is working across Europe, Asia, and South America.
The rcp family has worked on more than 400 projects, including: the Bus Simulator series, Angry Birds Epic, Angry Birds Evolution, Windstorm, Sacred Legends, Shadow and Bone, The Ascent and Songs of Silence. Our interactive experiences include an internal VR project for BMW, a long-running platform for Teva, and a training game for the Bundeswehr.
We are also proudly engaged in the wider industry ecosystem, working in politics, education, awareness, representation, culture and social issues.
